If you are an old school rock-n-roll fan, here’s some good news. Delhi-based musician Aditya Jassi, 31, will be launching his music album titled 7, tonight. “The album, which has seven songs, is about the seven stages of separation in love. It has songs for all age groups,” he says.
The Hindi old school album is based on a musical journey of a lover. Each of the seven songs depicts a stage in a lover’s life. “All the things I have written about have happened to me some time or the other, and thus are really close to my heart,” says Jassi.
A licensed pilot and a former TV news anchor, he is well versed with the guitar and refuses to look back. With the dream of getting a Grammy award in the next eight to nine years, the singer wishes to perform for a huge crowd. “I want to perform for 70,000 people, and like a lot of singers, I also dream to work with AR Rahman,” he says.
Being a Delhiite, the singer has a selfish motive for launching the album here, as he wants it to be in his hometown. “My album is dedicated to my family and friends, as they have seen me grow as an artist,” he says.
