Composers Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani will play at the world’s first live concert for mobile users. It will be held on February 9, between 5 and 6 pm and is accessible only to Airtel users on 50505. Before playing the song, the duo will also interact with the subscriber and give them details about the requested song

“We’ll share some tidbits about the songs that the callers don’t know. We’ll also talk about our memories that are associated with a requested track. May be we’ll sing some songs with dummy lyrics to show them how it all works,” says Dadlani. “You start with a certain idea and sometimes you have random lyrics that the lyricist takes the tune from you, and adds so much to the song.”

Hungama.com will also play a live stream simultaneously for people who miss out on the calls. “It’s Shekhar and my idea to go on to cell-phones instead of having a concert. And no one has ever done that,” beams Dadlani. “We’re supporting ourselves with it, which is pretty
important.”
