SRINAGAR: A Day after Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti called for expediting stone-pelting cases, the state home department on Tuesday approved the withdrawal of 104 such cases involving 634 youths. A three-member panel constituted on June 26 to look into the matter in its recommendations to the chief minister, who also holds the charge of home department, had proposed that the cases between 2008 and 2014 be segregated and recommended for withdrawal in a phased manner.
