KOLKATA: Eminent litterateur and social activist Mahasweta Devi, admitted to a private hospital for over a month, was on Thursday put on ventilator support. Undergoing treatment for over 45 days, her condition continues to remain very critical. The 90-year-old is suffering from multiple age-related ailments besides blood infection and urinary tract infection.
