JAMMU: Pakistani army violated ceasefire agreement on Wednesday and opened fire on Indian positions along the 744 -km Line of Control in Saujiyan sector of Poonch district. “Around 5.30pm Pakistani troops opened fire on Indian posts, prompting Indian soldiers to respond in an equal measure,” said official sources. Fire was still being exchanged till reports last poured in. Specifics of exchange could not be ascertained, as the Indian Army is yet to release a statement confirming the incident.
