NEW DELHI: A day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) served a notice on a firm linked to Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, his wife Priyanka Vadra took a swipe at the agency, suggesting that the news was deliberately put in the public domain even before her husband got any notice.

“Apparently we received it at 4pm today, but you (media) received it a day before,” Priyanka Vadra quipped when a few news channels sought her reply.

The ED is probing some private realtors and Rajasthan state government officials in connection with alleged irregularities in the allotment of land to firms and individuals. Sky Light Hospitality, promoted by Robert Vadra, has already denied the allegations of any involvement in it.

The Congress on Wednesday said the probe should be unbiased and transparent.
