Sonia Gandhi not to hold Iftar this year

NEW DELHI: Congress president Sonia Gandhi will not host Iftar this year. In view of prevailing drought in the country, the party has decided to distribute ration among the poor. While Gandhi hosted an Iftar party last year, she had in the past decided against it when the country was hit by natural calamities, including drought.
