“A farmer who also works as an iron smith was travelling with bag of chemicals used to make crackers to scare away birds from fields and it caught fire due to summer heat. We have not found any terror angle in the incident,” said a senior home ministry official requesting anonymity.

Security was beefed up in the region after the incident. The blast was the fourth of its kind in Haryana this year. Officials from central counter-terrorism agencies are suspecting that the earlier blasts could be a result of a terror group experimenting with IEDs.
