Suresh Prabhu, YS Chowdary file nomination papers for RS

HYDERABAD: Railways minister Suresh Prabhu filed the nomination for Rajya Sabha election from Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday as a BJP nominee, supported by NDA partner TDP. Union minister of state for science and technology YS Chowdary and former Andhra Pradesh minister TG Venkatesh also filed their nomination papers as TDP nominees. Chowdary is seeking an election to the Upper House of Parliament for a second straight term.
