Three robberies were reported in the twin cities of Noida and Greater Noida while an unidentified body was recovered from a canal in Dadri area, police said on Tuesday.

In Greater Noida, an FIR was lodged on the complaint of one R Haider who alleged that he was assaulted by three armed men near Balak Inter College on Monday night and robbed of his motorcycle and cash, according to a senior police official.
At Sector 24 in Noida, another victim, Sri Chand, alleged that unidentified persons had robbed him of his mobile phone and Rs15,000 cash, said deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Rakesh Kumar.
In another case, Naya Bans resident Lal Mohammad lodged an FIR at Sector 49 police station stating that on Monday night he was returning from Dadri to Noida when his car was intercepted by some people in another car.
The men in the other car forced him to stop and engaged in an altercation with him claiming that his car had hit theirs, the DSP said.
These unidentified people soon gathered around a dozen men and forcibly took one of his relatives, who was in the car with him, to a nearby Baraat Ghar where they assaulted him and robbed him of his mobile phone and Rs50,000 cash, Kumar said.
Meanwhile, in Dadri area, an unidentified body was recovered from a canal, the officer added.
