Michael Phelps, Olympic swimming champion, celebrates birth of 2nd son

Michael Phelps’ oldest son, Boomer, also took to social media to welcome his new baby brother.

The Olympic swimmer took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the birth of his second son by sharing a photo of his wife, Nicole, and their boys.

“Magical moments yesterday ... Nicole and I would like to introduce Beckett Richard Phelps to the world!” Phelps wrote. “We had a healthy baby boy and a healthy mama. I truly do feel like the happiest man in the world.”

Phelps’ oldest son, Boomer, was born in May 2016 and also took to social media to welcome his new baby brother.

“I am officially a big bro!!! All I wanna do is hold him! I can’t wait til I get to teach him so many cool things about the world!” the caption read.

Michael and Nicole got engaged in February 2015 and were married during a secret ceremony the following year.
