Joshna, seeded sixth, took exactly 50 minutes to prevail over Wee 9-6, 3-9, 1-9, 9-7, 9-2 in the semi-final.

Joshna will face top seed Kiwi Jaclyn Hawkes in the final Wednesday. Hawkes came from behind twice to beat compatriot and third seed Louise Crome 9-6, 3-9, 1-9, 9-7, 9-2 in the other semi-final on Tuesday.

Of late, Joshna is witnessing the best run of her career as he finished runners-up in last week's Vietnam Open losing to higher ranked Crome in the final, but not before scalping higher seeded players.

The other Indian in the fray Dipika Pallikal was already shown the door in the quarterfinals on Monday by Wee.
