All the three were members of the Indian contingent. Though Masood and Ahlawat have been suspended, the NRAI is yet to initiate an inquiry.
Moraad Ali Khan, chairman of NRAI's athletes' committee, said a complaint had been received but the inquiry would commence shortly as he is travelling.”
When the team returned to India, the girl brought the issue to the federation’s notice, but apparently the response was lukewarm.
Her parents then complained to the sports ministry, which asked the federation to take prompt action. Both have been dropped from the team pending inquiry.
