The weather at this time of the year is quite pleasant, but going into Game 3 of the NBA playoff finals, the San Antonio Spurs would be feeling the heat after Miami Heat's thumping win in Game 2, to even the series 1-1.

With five matches remaining, three to be played here, the home team are keen not to fritter away the chances that come their way.

The intensity can be felt off the field too as banners of 'Go Spurs Go' stand out across the city. Some of the restaurants at the Riverwalk area, popular with the young generation, are even offering discounts, apart from screening the match live. Tuesday's contest will be the Spurs' first test on home turf, and a win here would be a boost and give the fans something to cheer about.
