Tiger Woods has failed to make up any ground in the Australian Masters with an even-par 71 that left him well behind the leaders on a rainy Saturday.

Woods got off to a poor start, missing a 5-foot birdie putt on the easy opening hole, and twice three-putting for bogey from long range on his opening six holes. A birdie on the last hole at least kept him under par for the tournament.
Adam Bland remained in the lead at 10-under par with seven holes remaining.
Sergio Garcia also was struggling. He was 3 over for the day, and nine shots out of the lead.
