Lot of injustice has been done with Bihar: Nitish

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said "lot of injustice had been done with the state" after the government of late Srikrishna Sinha, first Chief Minister, during which Bihar was adjudged +best administered state+.

Bihar earned lot of pride and was receiving full respect when the freedom fighter Srikrishna Sinha was heading the state which was reated as the best administered among the states in the country at that time, Kumar said, while addressing a state function organised to mark the 122nd birth anniversay of Sinha.

After Sinha's tenure as first CM, the state has been subjected to neglect and lot of injustice has been done+, he said.

He recalled that Sinha was popularly known as Bihar Kesri, and brought pride to the state for playing important role in the struggle for freedom.

Earlier, Kumar garlanded the statue of Late Srikrishna Sinha at the old secretariat.

State Legislative Council Chairman Tarakant Jha, former Chief Minister Jagannath Mishra, Ramashray Prasad Singh and a host of other ministers, MLAs and MLCs, were also present.
