Sanjay Kumar Sada of Singheswarsthan of Madhepura district and Darun Devi of Saur Bazar of Saharsa, who stayed at the Singeshwars than relief camp for the last 10 days, tied the knot on September 17 at the camp. Although it was a simple affair, more than 3,000 residents of the camp were ‘forced government guests’. The menu was simple — rice, pulses and a vegetable curry. But the biggest surprise was CM Nitish Kumar’s visit the camp next day.

"The couple took his blessings,” said Madhepura district magistrate Aatish Chandra. He added that the CM also asked him to provide economic assistance to them.
