President conveys condolences to storm victims' families

President Pratibha Patil today conveyed her condolences to the memebers of the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injured in the Tuesday night's devastating storm in Bihar's Seemanchal belt.

President Pratibha Patil on Friday conveyed her condolences to the memebers of the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injured in the Tuesday night's devastating storm in Bihar's Seemanchal belt.

"I am sorry to learn about the catastrophic thunderstorm that has brought heavy damage to the people of the state and has also caused loss of lives and injury," Patil, who is in Gangtok, said in a message to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

"I am sure that the state government is rendering necessary assistance to the affected people of the state," she said.
