12:55- 1331 Dn Dhanbad-Patna Intercity Express leaves Jamui station.

13:05- Train reaches Kunder halt, between Jamui and Kiul junction.

13:10- The train gets stopped at the outer signal of Kunder halt as the alarm chain gets pulled.

13:12- Over 100 Maoists surround train; women in squad open fire.

13:15- About 25 Maoists, mostly women, enter AC & sleeper coaches.

13:20- Entrants overpower RPSF personnel; snatch arms from two.

13:22- Intruders open fire on resisting RPSF men, one gets killed.

13:30- Maoists fire and kill Patna police sub-inspector in the AC compartment.
