Photos| Assembly polls ‘19: BJP-Sena cross majority, a hung house in Haryana

Voting on Haryana’s 90 assembly seats and Maharashtra’s 288 seats was held on October 21. Counting of votes began today at 8 am. In Maharashtra the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has crossed the majority. However, it’s not clear if they would form the government in alliance as CM Fadnavis claims that rebel MLAs might join BJP. On the other hand, Haryana will be a hung assembly as no party has managed to reach majority in the assembly. Congress’ Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who improved the party’s figures in this election, is bent on convincing other leaders to form the government in the state.
