Parts of Delhi received rains on Sunday leading to traffic snarls on some busy stretches. Delhi has already received over half the amount of rainfall that it normally gets over the entire month of July, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). On Sunday, the maximum temperature settled at 35.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the average, the IMD said. On the other hand, the minimum temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average. For Monday, the weather bureau has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain and thundershowers.
