On Monday, an Indian Air Force (IAF) Jaguar fighter plane crashed in Uttar Pradesh’s Kushinagar area. No causality has been reported and the pilots were able to eject safely. IAF’s Jaguar fighter plane had taken off from the Gorakhpur Air Force base, reports ANI. (PTI)

On Monday, a special CBI court in Guwahati convicted National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) founder Ranjan Daimary and 13 others in the 2008 Assam serial bombings that killed 81 and injured 470. One person has been acquitted. The bombings took place on October 30, 2008 with as many as 18 bombs going off simultaneously in the markets of Guwahati and surrounding areas of western Assam. (PTI)
