Photos: Heavy rains lash Delhi NCR, waterlogging and traffic add to woes

Heavy rains lashed Delhi and areas inthe national capital region on July 19 morning. The resulting waterlogging in several parts of the capital claimed the life one person. In a separate incident, a cave-in led to several houses collapsing into a canal. Even though the monsoon had reached Delhi on June 25, two days earlier than usual, rains had remained subdued until now. The IMD has predicted thunderstorms coupled with rain in Delhi and neighbouring areas till July 21.
