Often deep-rooted childhood trauma or past experiences silence us with shame. We also internalise that emotion thinking that we are responsible for everything going wrong. "Shame's isolating grip often silences us, as it thrives on our silence. Frequently rooted in childhood, these shameful beliefs persist as we age, upheld by our mind's search for validation. Although shame may seem unending, speaking about it within safe spaces reveals its transitory nature, allowing us to process and transcend its hold," wrote Therapist Andrea Evgeniou.(Unsplash)
