PHOTOS | Christmas 2020: Celebrations around the world

December 25 is believed by Christians to be the birth of Jesus Christ and the day is marked by celebrations all across the world as Christmas holidays. This year, the coronavirus pandemic has hindered the large scale gatherings and massive celebrations of the festive season as many have to stay in isolation amid lockdowns. However, families and friends who could not visit each other, connected virtually through online platforms. The elaborate Christmas markets followed physical distancing regulations and Christmas feasts were observed from the safety of one's home.
