Mumbai Weather: Mumbai braces for monsoon season, warnings out for extremely heavy rain

The Southwest monsoon is all set to land in Mumbai over the weekend with India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting extremely heavy rain between Saturday and Monday. The IMD has also advised people to stay indoors as much as possible. In light of such a prediction, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has cancelled leaves of all senior officials as Mumbaikars brace for yet another monsoon season which brings both joy and despair annually to India's financial capital.
