Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother, Heeraben Modi, was admitted to the UN Mehta hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Modi visited his mother earlier this month, just before the second and final phase of the Gujarat assembly election. Heeraben had also voted in the second phase of the Gujarat Assembly elections. Heeraben Modi born on June 18, 1923, celebrated her 99th birthday this year.
