Photos: Trump supporters protest over integrity of US vote count

Two days after polling in the 2020 US elections closed, neither Donald Trump nor Joe Biden has earned the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. The Republican incumbent has in the period since, claimed election fraud, prematurely declared victory and sought legal injunctions against the vote count as his path to victory narrows. Encouraged by Trump’s rhetoric, Republican supporters turned up on November 5 to protest outside counting locations in battleground states still sorting through mail ballots — the method of voting preferred by many Democrats.
