Photos: Controversial protest rallies call for end to US stay-at-home orders
Thousands have rallied in states across the US in recent days against their governments’ stay-at-home advisories. People took to streets to support their right to assemble and advocate their right to work, while flouting social distancing norms and with many gathered without protective masks. Despite health officials warning that reopening states and returning to daily life too soon could backfire and result in a new surge of COVID-19 cases, the protests have continued.
