Vadhu Budruk gram panchayat sarpanch Rekha Sahibrao Shivale when asked whether there is an organisation known as ‘Shiv pratishthan Hindustan’ said that she did not know about it. And when quizzed her regarding her surname, she said, “It is correct to say that in our village, people have surname ‘Shivale’ even before the period of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. But I do not belong to any political party and I am elected as sarpanch as an independent.”

Meanwhile, when Chandrakant Patil was cross-examined by advocate Bansode on Friday who compelled him to answer, commission lawyer advocate Ashish Satpute made his submission that the lawyer can compel an answer only when he recuses or does not answer. The commission appreciated the legal submission.
