Duo from Pune kidnap former employer, arrested

Pimpri-Chinchwad police arrested two, accused of allegedly kidnapping Shivaji Padwal, deputy director, Rathod Polybond on April 18.

The alleged kidnapping took place on April 16.The accused, identified as Yogesh Ganpati Kakade,25, a resident of Charholi and Kiran Rajendra Sakte, 22, are residents of Alandi Markal road. The duo accosted Padwal in Charholi. The duo threw chilli powder in the eyes of Padwal’s driver and then abducted him.

According to the police, the duo were former employees at Rathod Polybond.

Their services had been terminated after Padwal brought to the notice of the management, their alleged involvement in a theft inside the company. Preliminary investigations revealed that the duo had allegedly kidnapped Padwal in order to take revenge.

A FIR related to kidnapping has been lodged at Dighi police station.
