Man found murdered in Pune’s Lavale area
The body was found near a house located along a road in front of Rotmalnath temple in Lavale in the jurisdiction of Paud police station under Pune rural police jurisdiction.
A 38-year-old man’s body was found with multiple wounds in Lavale region of Mulshi on Saturday morning. The deceased man was identified as Rajesh Kumbhar.

The police recovered a CCTV (closed-circuit television) footage of the area and registered a case against four unidentified people seen in the footage.
A case under Sections 32, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 4 and 27 of the Arms Act was registered against the four at Paud police station.
The case is being investigated by police inspector (PI) Suresh Nimbalkar of Paud police station.
The complaint in the case was filed by the deceased man’s old brother who is a scrap dealer in Lavale.
Kumbhar had cut marks on his palms, left arm, head and near his left ear, according to the police.
The body was sent to a local hospital for post-mortem.
The four assailants were seen driving away in a white car, according to the police. while one of the four assailants was wearing a white half-sleeved shirt, the other was seen wearing a black jacket.
