The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) on Saturday took out demonstrations outside the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) headquarters at Shivajinagar and gheraoed two health officers.

MNS women activists demonstrated under the leadership of former corporator Rupali Patil and gheraoed health department heads Vaishali Jadav and Anjali Sabne. They accused the PMC and the health officers of not providing good service in PMC-run hospitals and clinics.
MNS also wrote to the municipal commissioner and demanded appointment of a full time health department head instead of appointing two persons.
The PMC commissioner had appointed two officers as health department heads, after the retirement former chief RT Pardeshi.
