A software engineer at a prominent IT company in Hinjewadi has lodged a complaint with the Pimpri police regarding her alleged molestation by a senior company official two years ago.

According to the FIR, the offence took place between June and August 2016 at the printer room of the company. The complaint states that the accused is identified as Rushi Mugrai (42), a resident of NDA road near Kondhwe Dhawade. According to the complainant, the accused called her at the printer room, praised her looks and said that he wanted to have sexual relationship with her. Later, on March 17 2016, the accused molested her on the company premises.
The complaint also states that she was molested by the same person before this incident when he called her at the printer room. She found him naked in the room and was molested by him. Police sub-inspector Govind Pawar said that the company was looking at the complaint lodged by the victim through an internal official mechanism, but “there was a delay as the internal investigation was still on”.
“When she told her lawyer about the recent case and narrated the previous incident, she was advised to immediately lodge an FIR,” Pawar said.
