Six teens booked for using fake admit cards in Pune

They were appearing for six other students who had originally failed the board exam and were reappearing.

Six juveniles were booked for using fake admit cards to appear for the Class 10 examination held by the secondary school certification (SSC) in a school in Shukrawar peth.

The six boys, aged 15-17 years, were held after the pictures on their admit cards did not match with the names. The six were appearing for six other students who had originally failed the board exam and were reappearing.The incident happened at Dr Narhar Kashinath Gharpure Prashala in Shukrawar peth around 11 am when the exam started.

A case under Sections 419 (cheating by personation), 465 (forgery), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), 471 (using forged document as genuine) and 34 (common intentions) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) was registered at Khadak police station against the six teenagers.
