‘Don't worry be happy’

What: Catch Umesh Kamat and  Spruha Joshi in ‘Don't worry be happy’. It is a humourous Marathi play about a couple's life. They are madly in love with each other, but hardly get time for each other because of today's lifestyle and their demanding jobs. Now, stress enters the home and the relationship as well. They are stressed and it effects them and their dreams. It's a roller-coaster ride of emotions set in today's modern society.

‘Welcome Zindagi’

Marathi plat Welcome Zindagi at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha, Kothrud.

What: Catch Bharat Jadhav, Girish Oak and Shivani Rangole in Marathi play ‘Welcome Zindagi’. This is a hilarious story of an of a man of 102 years of age, who is still energetic, physically fit and very positive about life. He intends to break a record of a Chinese man who lived up to 118 years of age. This old man has a son 75 years old, who is totally the opposite of himself. He has no excitement or positivity towards life. The old man opinions that this negativity of his son around him will obstruct his plans to break record of long life. So he decides to keep his son in a far away old age home. And then real drama starts. There is a third interesting character of a young sales girl from a medical shop who becomes a bridge between the father and son. The suspense is revealed at the end as to why the old man wanted to do all this. A must see drama.

MUSIC

Swar Deepawali

What: Swar Deepawali is a musical concert based on the expedition of Indian classical music. Artistes such as Pt Atulkumar Upadhye, Pt Ronu Majumdar, Atul Raninga, Surmani Krishna Ballesh, Prateek Rajkumar, Aditya Kalyanpur, Ajinkya Joshi and Rajas Atulkumar Upadhey will perform.

Musical discourse

What: Aalok, Sangeeta Shaastra aur Prastuti musical discourse with Dr Prabha Atre spread over 15 sessions, about her musical musings and presentation of her compositions. The topic for the fifth session is Bandish – a musical material.

Vinayaka’s tunes
