The police recovered 114 bottles of country-made liquor in Sangrur on Thursday and arrested two persons in this connection.
In the first incident, the Dhuri city police booked Darshan Singh of Jagatpura Mohalla from Manawala road when he was found with 18 bottles of liquor during special patrolling.
In the second case, Khanori police station assistant sub-inspector Birbal Sharma, on a tip-off, raided the house of Shamsher Singh and recovered 96 bottles of liquor.
Both the accused were booked under section 61/1/14 of the excise Act.
