16 injured as private bus rams into truck in Jalandhar
Sixteen passengers were injured, six of them critically, when a private bus rammed into truck at Lamba Pind Chowk on the Jalandhar-Amritsar highway on Sunday.

Sixteen passengers were injured, six of them critically, when a private bus rammed into truck at Lamba Pind Chowk on the Jalandhar-Amritsar highway on Sunday.
The bus driver was reportedly was talking on his mobile phone when the mishap took place.
The injured passengers have been admitted to private hospitals in Jalandhar. The bus on its way to Pathankot while the truck, loaded with iron rods, was moving towards the Focal Point area. Station house officer Bimal Kant said six of the injured were critical. Bus driver Davinder Singh and conductor Daljeet also sustained injuries.
Most of the injured are from Ludhiana, Tanda, Mukerian and Pathankot.
