58-yr-old woman mugged in P'kula
Snatchers on Thursday targeted a 58-year-old woman, employed in the Punjab health department in Chandigarh. While returning home from office, Saroj Bala, a resident of Sector 4, Panchkula, a motorbike-borne youth snatched her purse. He pushed her aside to the ground.

Snatchers on Thursday targeted a 58-year-old woman, employed in the Punjab health department in Chandigarh. While returning home from office, Saroj Bala, a resident of Sector 4, Panchkula, a motorbike-borne youth snatched her purse. He pushed her aside to the ground.
She told the police that the purse contained her mobile phone, Rs 5500 in cash, driving licence, identity card, and gold earrings.
She immediately reported the matter to the police, after which check posts were put up across the city. The case has been registered at the Sector-5 police station.
