7-year-old boy crushed to death, mother critical
A 7-year-old boy, Anshdeep Singh, died on the spot whereas his mother Harvinder Kaur was referred to PGI Chandigarh after a truck hit their scooty in Sunam town of the district on Thursday.The incident took place on the Jakhal road when Harvinder was going home with her son.

A 7-year-old boy, Anshdeep Singh, died on the spot whereas his mother Harvinder Kaur was referred to PGI Chandigarh after a truck hit their scooty in Sunam town of the district on Thursday.The incident took place on the Jakhal road when Harvinder was going home with her son.
A truck coming from behind hit the scooty, killing Anshdeep on the spot. Sunam (city) police station incharge Jatinderpal Singh said Harvinder also received severe injuries and was referred to PGI.
He said police managed to arrest the driver of the truck and booked him under Section 304a of the IPC.
