Addressing workers, AAP state convener Gurpreet Singh Waraich said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is directly responsible for the problems being faced by common man due to demonetisation. He said the farmers, traders and small retailers are constrained to stand in long queues outside the banks due to demonetisation which has damaged their business.
Questioning Modi over his statement that demonetisation would give sleepless nights to black money hoarders and the common man will lead a peaceful life, Waraich said the move had completely derailed the life of the “aam aadmi”. “Does the PM think that farmers, retailers and daily-wage earners standing outside banks are corrupt?” he questioned.
