Armyman held for sodomising colleague’s minor son in Faridkot

Police have arrested an armyman who allegedly sodomised the nine- year-old son of his colleague.

Police have arrested an armyman who allegedly sodomised the nine- year-old son of his colleague.

The accused, identified as Amanpreet Singh, was arrested on the complaint of boy’s father.

According to the complaint, the boy had come to play in a park in the Cantonment area. The accused allegedly lured the boy to a secluded place where he allegedly sodomised him.

Police have registered a case under section 377(unnatural offence) of the Indian Penal Code.

Harphool Singh, investigating officer in the case, said the accused, who is serving as a sepoy, has been arrested
