The association has asked the government to take measures ahead of the union budget, so that burden of the industry could be decreased and new avenues for better future of the industry are created.
The association has brought out a list of measures that need to be taken for better prospects of the auto parts industry that generates nearly Rs 7,000 crore turnover every year.
In an official statement released by the association, exemption on central excise has been demanded in the budget this year.
