Badal's horses brought to GADVASU for treatment
Two miniature imported breed of horses of chief minister Parkash Singh Badal were brought to Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) on Friday as one of them suffered from diarrhoea. Horses were brought to the veterinary hospital by the officials of the chief minister.

PS Mavi head of the veterinary hospital deployed a team of doctors to diagnose the cause of problem in the foal that was later diagnosed with diarrhoea.
Mavi said: “It was not a major problem with the horses. Only a foal was diagnosed with diarrhoea and was treated upon by the team of doctors.”
Horses would be discharged by Friday evening or Saturday morning as there was nothing serious, he said.
The breed of miniature horse is found in European and American nations and was imported by the Badals.
Due to the immense difference in climatic conditions, these horses often develop ailments here.
