City BJP organises free health checkup camp

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pharma cell and Senior Citizen Brotherhood Association organised free medical camp at community centre Sector 37, Chandigarh, from 9am to 1pm on Sunday.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pharma cell and Senior Citizen Brotherhood Association organised free medical camp at community centre Sector 37, Chandigarh, from 9am to 1pm on Sunday.

The patients were examined for eye, dental, cardiology, skin, ortho, gynae problems.

Pharma cell convenor Prince Bhandula said more than 200 patients came for check up by specialist doctors.

Free medicines were also distributed among the patients.

Bhandula added that the pharmacell volunteers had educated senior citizens to change their lifestyle to control diseases.

Meanwhile, on the eve of ‘Nirjala Akadshi’ as well as ‘Shaheedi Divas of Guru Arjan Dev, the Global Welfare Society, Sector 51A, Chandigarh, organised “Chabeel”.

The event was inaugurated by for mercity MP and national chairman of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s committee on legal affairs and election commission issues, Satya Pal Jain.

State secretary of BJP Chandigarh , Anita Chaudhary and president, Akali Dal, Chandigarh, JS Kang, were also present on the occasion.
