Clean sweep for SAD-BJP alliance in Kot-Ise-Khan

With the SAD-BJP alliance making a clean sweep in the Kot-Ise-Khan municipal election in the district under the supervision of Punjab agriculture minister Jathedar Tota Singh, who is also MLA from this area, the Congress here has been completely wiped out. All 13 seats of the municipal council have been bagged by the alliance.

The Nihal Singh Wala area in the district registered its highest voter turnout with a record 85.59% voters casting their votes. Kot-Ise-Khan and Badhni Kalan witnessed 84.08% and 85.84% polling respectively.
