Dhankar was replying a calling attention motion moved by several MLAs on the issue of loss of cotton crop due to white fly attack in cotton growing areas of the state.

Dhankar said that at this stage it was difficult to assess the exact production loss in cotton crop because it is at a flowering stage.

"The exact loss would be known only after proper crop inspection (girdawari) when cotton is plucked,'' he informed the House.
