DC finds unwholesome food served in school

A surprise raid, conducted by deputy commissioner Ravi Bhagat at Government Senior Secondary School, Ghanupur Kale, on Saturday, revealed that unwholesome food and partially cooked 'chapatis' were being served to students in during the mid-day meal.

"The 'chapatis' that were being served to students were not only partially cooked, but also not fit to be eaten," he said. The DC added that instructions have been issued to the staff concerned of the school to ensure quality of the food."
