Discom plans to hear consumer grievances
The Members of the Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum (CGRF) of Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam will hold nine meetings at the headquarters of different operation circles in November to hear consumer grievances and entertain new complaints.

A spokesman of the DHBVN said here on Wednesday that the CGRF meeting would at Jind on November 4, Hisar on November 7, Palwal on November 11, Faridabad on November 14, Narnaul on November 17, Bhiwani on November 19, Rewari on November 21, Sirsa on November 25, and Gurgaon on November 28.
The CGRF will look into complaints regarding billing, voltage fluctuation, metering, disconnection and reconnection, interruptions, power supply failure, efficiency, safety, reliability, non-compliance with Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission orders.
The cases of power theft and unauthorised use of electricity, besides offences, penalties, accidents, and inquiries would not be considered.
The consumers wanting to move the forum should ensure that no case in any other court of law on a similar matter was pending. They will be required to submit the complaint with full details along with an affidavit. They are required to pay no fee to the forum.
