Speaking on the occasion, she said, "Without education of the poor masses, a town, a state or a country cannot develop or progress further. In this respect, I am treading the path shown to me by my late husband OP Jindal, who had a passion to work for the backward classes and poor people."

She disclosed during the Congress regime, she got developmental work done in Hisar to the tune of Rs 600 crore and announced to continue her work for the welfare of the people.
